Egyptian fresh mandarins are carefully harvested and selected to preserve their bright color, juicy texture, refreshing citrus flavor and easy-to-peel character. They are prepared for international fresh-produce markets and can be supplied in different varieties, sizes and grades according to buyer requirements. Egyptian export sources document several commercial mandarin varieties and export packing formats.

Packaging:

Export cartons suitable for fresh citrus transportation.
Typical packing includes 5 kg and 8 kg cartons, with other packaging configurations available according to fruit size, destination and buyer requirements.

Availability / Season:

Generally available from November to April, depending on variety and growing region. Some Egyptian export programs extend availability into July for selected mandarin varieties.
